Hi Friends,
We are all in love with Sleep, and the blog that I am writing is dedicated to my love for sleep,
And in this whole post, I am gonna be talking about 10 Facts I bet you didn't knew about Sleep,
So yeah guys, here I go :
1. Did you guys knew that We, humans are the only mammal that willingly delays sleep.
Yes, Every other mammal you see, doesn't compromise with their sleep,
Isn't this cool and lazy ๐? What do you guys think?
2. Well, my guys,
I know we all have experienced the sensation of falling when we are half asleep and suddenly jerking ourself awake,
My dear friends, this is called Hypnic Jerks and you don't have to worry about this because this is perfectly fine.

3. So guys,
How long do you think a person has stayed awake the most without sleep?
3days, 4 days, 5 days? How many?
Well guess what, guys, Its freaking 11 days!
I know my guys, this is shocking but trust me this is all true,
A californian student had set the world record for staying awake for freaking 11 days!!!!
Can you believe it? Well, you need to. Because its all true.

4. Are you a sleep walker?
Well for me, I think I am not ๐ but it is thought that up to 15% of the population are sleepwalkers
This is according to the National Sleep Foundation.
It’s also a myth that you shouldn’t wake someone who is sleepwalking.

5. Did you know that we, humans spend 1/3 of their life sleeping,
which is a very much time of our lives, and we end up wasting it by sleep,
I mean we could use that time wisely like by travelling,
(I don't mean to say Sleep is bad, I mean I love sleep, but this is a lot of time of our life, just think about this my guys! ๐ค)
6. Elephants sleep less than any other animal.
You guys may have heard that an elephant never forgets, but scientists aren’t sure why.
It’s thought that humans process memories during REM sleep.
Elephants, on the other hand, have been observed to only go into REM sleep every three to four days, and,
They only sleep for about three hours.

7. Most human infants need about 16 hours of sleep a day –about the same as a full-grown tiger!
The sleepiest animal in the world is the koala, which spends about 18-22 hours a day snoozing.

8. Guys,
How much time do you take to sleep after going to bed,
Well, Normally, to fall asleep, it should take between 10-20 minutes after going to bed.
If it takes you less than five minutes to fall asleep, you’re probably very tired and sleep deprived.
What I recommend to you guys is that, please practice good sleep hygiene to help your body fall asleep fast every night,
and be healthy ๐ด๐

You guys telling me you think you don’t dream?
Think again my friend,
We, Humans usually have between four to six dreams a night.
Many sleep scientists believe dreams help your brain process the events of the day, so dreams are very much important!
If you think you don’t dream each night, it likely just means you’ve forgotten your dreams by the time you wake.
Hahaha that's right my friend, you forgot?
